The Formance Community Edition is the open-source version of the Formance Platform. It provides all the core modules needed to build financial applications while giving you full control over your infrastructure.

What’s Included

The Community Edition includes:
  • Formance Operator - Kubernetes operator for managing Formance resources
  • Ledger - Double-entry accounting system with Numscript support
  • Payments - Payment provider integrations (Stripe, Adyen, Wise, etc.)
  • Gateway - API gateway for unified access
Additional modules like Wallets, Flows, Reconciliation, and Webhooks are available in the Enterprise Edition.
